i have a question, can we replace Nexus 5548 which acts as NPIV SAN switch, with another switch Nexus 93180YC-Fx with NX-OS version 9.3(5) and ACI-STRG license, I want to know if the nexus 9k can provide the same functionality (NPIV, foce ) that offered by the nexus 5548.
thanks

as per the datasheet, it supports FCoE and NPV

But when activating FCoE feature and binding Vfc to physical interfaces toward an initiator (UCS) according to this reference, it works:

NX9K-B-SW1# show interface vf

NX9K-B-SW1# show interface vfc1/24
vfc1/24 is trunking (Not all VSANs UP on the trunk)
Bound interface is Ethernet1/24
Hardware is Ethernet
Port WWN is 20:18:b0:c5:3c:05:d5:00
Admin port mode is F, trunk mode is on
snmp link state traps are enabled
Port mode is TF
Port vsan is 1011
Operating Speed is 10 Gbps
Admin Speed is auto
Trunk vsans (admin allowed and active) (1,1011)
Trunk vsans (up) (1011)
Trunk vsans (isolated) ()
Trunk vsans (initializing) (1)
41 fcoe in packets
4576 fcoe in octets
0 fcoe out packets
0 fcoe out octets
Interface last changed at Fri Jan 8 23:53:02 2021
However, it's not working with netapp FAS2620:
(we noticed that Po212 is sending traffic out to NetApp but no 'in traffic')
Any solutions plz.

Hi Bhavin,
so you were able to do zoning, FCoE and everyting as on 5Ks?
Did it work on the end?
