Recommended IOS for MDS C9148T

Hello 

We have MDS C9148T with version 8.3 and need to upgrade it, while checking Cisco website see two recommended version:

(8.4 2f) and (9.4 2a). so which one should I go to.

  - Normally you would go for the latest; I would suggest that you compare the Release Notes  for both versions , to be able to decide in the context of your current storage environment,

Higher version is better that has a latest features and bug fixed and security fixes.

Make sure your hardware support and you have correct verion to go to latest verison.

I'm more of a visual person, a coleage orignially created this slide, and I've been keeping it up to date. This representats when each NX-OS version was released.  The Star indicates it's a current recommended release as of this writing.

I ran out of room for 9.4(3), but that was released 12/6/2024.
