Sorry to be back with this but I am trying to troubleshoot some other connectivity errors.

I have a switch where  the active vsan is vsan 3

The active zoneset is vsan 3 with an example zone below

MTL-C9124FL12-2# show zoneset active
zoneset name fab_2012092701 vsan 3
  zone name sql05 vsan 3
    pwwn 21:00:00:e0:8b:14:f2:74
    pwwn 50:0a:09:82:88:da:12:da
    pwwn 50:0a:09:81:98:da:12:da

etc

That zone has alias for vsan 3

zone name mtlsql05 vsan 3
       fcalias name mtlsql05_pci01 vsan3
              pwwn 21:00:00:e0:8b:14:f2:74

       fcalias name netapp_a0b vsan 3
              pwwn 50:0a:09:82:88:da:12:da

  fcalias name netapp_b0a vsan 3

              pwwn 50:0a:09:81:98:da:12:da

But when I show vsan membership I get all the interfaces are in vsan 1. I checked another switch (functioning) and the ports are all in the correct vsan

MTL-C9124FL12-2# show vsan membership
vsan 1 interfaces:
    fc1/1             fc1/2             fc1/3             fc1/4
    fc1/5             fc1/6             fc1/7             fc1/8
    fc1/9             fc1/10            fc1/11            fc1/12
    fc1/13            fc1/14            fc1/15            fc1/16
    fc1/17            fc1/18            fc1/19            fc1/20
    fc1/21            fc1/22            fc1/23            fc1/24

vsan 3 interfaces:

Does this seem odd to you?

Ok.. I think I missed this step

switch(config-vsan-db)# vsan 3 interface fc1/1-24
