Smart Zones Iniatator types

I have smart zones setup currently.

I am wondering can a member pwwn that is in a zone as <target> be configured in another zone as <both>.

What I am trying to accomplish is setting up a Sancopy connection between a VNX5800 and an Xtremio array.

I was told to get the VNX ports configured as <both>, but all ports on the array are currently setup as <target> in their current zones.

designation of "both" or "host" or "storage" is per zone so you should have no problems configured it to what you want. 

I actually configured VNX ports as host and XIO as storage.  You are either pulling or pushing to XIO and as far as XIO is concerned VNX is just like any other host.
