Hi,
I have a couple of Cisco MDS9513 switches added to device manager but they are grayed out and nothing lit on the interface. When I go to Interface->Monitor->FC Enabled, it says "No FC Enabled ports".See attached image.
Clicking on the Summary tab would show no ports.
I am not sure how to enable these ports I can monitor them as the rest of the switches.
any impact on the availablity should a change is needed?
Any help will be appreciated.

do you have appropriate license loaded ? Do you have correct version of Device Manager installed ? When you ssh into the switch and run "sh int br" ..what does it show ?

i just noticed that you are running Windows Xp mode VM ..my co-worker had a similar issue. Try to run DM from another, non-VM system.

Thanks for the tip, it is because Device Manager does not run on Windows 7.
A smaller Cisco switch is showing ok on the same setup, is this issue only seen on the Director class switches?

I just installed Device Manager 4.2.1a on windows 7 32bit ..no issues. I started Internet Explorer as Administrator, device manager installer did complain about not being compatible but installed fine and working ok. I am connecting to 9513 as well.

Found version 4 and it works. The ports are showing on the interface.
