Two same PWWN with different alias name - is it possible?

Hy!

I have a Cisco DS9132T-K9 SAN switch which will replace a Brocade switch. The original Brocade switch config contain two same PWWN with different alias name. I realized that I can not create more than one alias with same PWWN. Can I create somehow it? Is it possible?

Hi,
It’s not supported in Cisco.
In such case, when merging two device alias databases, follow these guidelines:

Verify that two device aliases with different names are not mapped to the same pWWN.
Verify that two different pWWNs are not mapped to the same device aliases.
