Ankit,
You are trying to set speed 1000 on a 10g sfp.
type is 10Gbase-SR
You will need to insert a 1gig sfp and then you will be able to set the speed.
Also, I noticed that you posted first with interface 2/6 and the output you gave me was for 4/6. Are you sure you're in the right interface?

Can you post a "show mod" and "show int eth 2/6 capa" output? Some of the modules don't support 1gig functionality so your speed 1000 command will fail.

Thanks Amanda....The point You made we have also noticed (type is 10Gbase-SR)...one more question is we cannot configure lesser speed (1G)in our case?
as you talked about interface so these two interface was ISL in my case having same configs.
