2948G problem

Hi,

We are having 2948G-GE-TX switch in production. Suddenly it stopped working. When console connected it is not showing anything.

Below are LED details:

STATUS: AMBER

PSI: ORANGE

RPSU: NO LIGHT

Any advice in troubleshooting this issue.

Siva,

Have you tried with a different console cable, different console speeds.

Try reloading the switch and see if you get some output on the screen. Looking at your description makes me believe that there is some hardware problem with the switch. What will be more interseting to see is the output of the switch booting sequence.Look for sone "POST failures ". If you see some of those that means there is some hardware issue with the switch.
