Probably an easy question to answer but I have yet to find it using the googles. When updating the IOS version of a 2960-S stack, does it retain the switch settings/port settings?
Yes, the config will stay the same. The are some cases where you would need to make manual changes after the upgrade but for the most part, the start-up config will not change.
