Guys,
I have a brand new 2960S-48TS-L, plain vanilla with no extra module/boards etc. It boots up ok (the installed version is 12.2 (55) SE5) but then constantly cycles the following error, and doesn't accept any input whatsoever. After 5-10 minutes of cycling the error, the switch reloads and starts the process again.
PCIE0: link is NOT up.

PE_UTLSET1 = 00000000
PE_UTLSET2 = 01010000
PE_PHYSET1 = 720E0000
PE_PHYSET2 = 50600003
PE_RCSSET = 00101000
PE_PHYSTA = 02111000
PE_RCSSTS = 00000000
PE_LOOP = 10000000
Does anyone have any thoughts (other than send it back, lol)?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

Matt,
Since it is new, open a ticket with TAC and RMA it. Let Cisco take care of it.
Good Luck

Hi Matthew,
The below error on the switch indicates that the issue is with the Hardware.

Action Plan:
You will need to proceed with Switch RMA. Kindly create a new RMA and get it replaced
with the new switch :-)
