3750 stack - Nic team

Hi Everyone,

I have a Dell server setup with Nic teaming. I have 5 3750G switches setup as a stack. I have the two nics plugged into different switches within the stack.

Is this a valid configuration? do the two nic have to be plugged into the same physical switch?

We have some slight speed issues so i just need to rule this out as a cause.

Hi Stuart

This is a perfectly legitimate configuration. The 3750's support cross stack etherchannel, and for resiliance purposes connecting the two nics to seperate switches within the stack is the right way to go.
