I was trying to do a lab setup for testing software auto upgrade "downgrade" but seem to be running into an issue with "sdm template mismatch" when watching console logs on the switch I'm trying to joing/upgrade to stack.
Master switch is 3850 - ws-c3850-12x48U-S - running 16.3.7
2nd switch trying to stack is 3850 - ws-c3850-48T-S - running 16.12.7
Both are in INSTALL mode
I was actually trying to see what would happen if master is running lower code version would the switch Im trying to stack "downgrade" to 16.3.7; the code on the master.
When I watch the console logs on switch 2 it gives me "Chassis 2 reloading, reason - sdm template mismatch" and just keeps rebooting.
Has anyone seen this before and is it due to the newer 16.12.7 code on switch 2 I'm trying to add to stack?
