Any kind of license requirement for deploying VSS

Dear all

We have 2 latest devices Cisco 6509-E and Supt 2 with IP base IOS & we have to configure VSS on them, do we need separate license for both devices or one will work also which ios license will require?

I need reply urgent please help me

Hi,

I think ip base supports VSS. For 6500 you can't purchase licenses. It works based on the feature set.

So I believe if you have ip base thats the  minimum requirement you have.

Have a check for VSS software and hardware requirement below
