I have a question.
I've found a solution to rate limiting / dropping both broadcast and multicast traffic when 128 pps is exceeded.
Here are the commands:
conf t
interface fa0/24
Storm-control multicast level pps 150
Storm-control broadcast level pps 150
The customer is requesting that it want's to restrict / drop traffic outbound of this interface when it reaches 150 pps.
Do these commands work in both directions, or only multicast and broadcast traffic destined to port fa0/24?
