Catalyst 6506 interface errors

We have a 6506 running 12.1 ios, equipped with 4 blades X48 port each. On 2 seperate blades we are receiving ifin errors on ports 1-12, also

"show int counter errors" indicate giants and rcv-errors on same ports. Adjacent ports to the 12 in question show now errors and are connected to similar equiupment.

Not sure how to procede in troubleshooting.

Sounds like an asic problem. I'd Open a case with the tac and get an RMA

sounds like an asic issue. you may need to RMA the linecards

Thanks for the info. I started moving devices to another asic / blade and errors have stopped.
