I'm planning to use the VLAN Ingress Rate Limit features of the CBS250-8P-E-2G to manage bandwidth use in our network, before I introduce it I want to sense check it will not hit any performance issues. We have around 100 VLANs being used at once, each with rate limits varying between 50Mbps and 500Mbps. If I trunk the VLANS through the CBS250 will it be capable of rate limiting them all or am I likely to hit any hardware / software bottlenecks?
My search around the web on this hasn't come up with anything, so any answers much appreciated.
