Cisco 6500 issu upgrade

Hi All,

Appreciate if someone call reply asap.

I have to do IOS upgrade for 2 x cisco 6509-E switches. 

Please note that both of switches are not in VSS pair. They are in standalone mode and with hsrp configured.

Both switches have dual sup2t so I'm planning to make my hands dirty on ISSU upgrade.

I tried to find document on issu but all I'm able to see is issu upgrade with vss and there is no document for standalone switches with dual sup cards

Can someone please share issu IOS upgrade document for dual sup siwtches in standalone mode.

Hi,

If you have dual sup switches and the switches are stand-alone, I am assuming you use HSRP or VRRP, if that is the case, you can simply upgrade one switch at a time without downtime.

I know i can do ios upgrade without downtime and that is through ISSU upgrade

But I'm not able to find document for same

All ISSU document are available for VSS. Can you please help me and share document of ISSU for standalone dual sup switches.
