Hi,
I have a problem in my network. Our already configuration is:
ISP (Internet) switch connected to D-Link DIR-600 router
D-Link DIR-600 router connected to cisco Catalyst 3560 Switch
Cisco Catalyst 3560 Switch connected to my computer.
We want to change D-Link router to ASUS RT-AC1200G+ or ASUS RT-N18U router.
Settings like ISP adresses, gates, masks, DNS, DHCP servers e.t.c. are identical on both devices (D-Link and ASUS routers).
If we change router to ASUS:
1) we have internet connection (plugged device directly to router or plugged by other switch work correctly)
2) devices plugged into cisco 3560 can see each another, but can't reach new IP adress (work until IP reservation still work). They can't reach Internet connection or router.
3) Devices plugged into 3560 Switch: when i PING 8.8.8.8 i get timeout message
4) Sometimes i can reach ONE ping to 8.8.8.8, but after it - endless timeout.
Routers are technically OK (one is new, second is taken from working network).
What is happened? How can i manage this switch, take any logs? I can't see Switch IP adress in my network.
(we have two Switches Cisco 3560, both with this same problem).

Doesn’t sound like the switch , why would this config change on this, I am assuming the router (no matter what you are using) is performing all the routing (global-vlan) , NAT etc..?.
What’s the connection between the router and the switch, (Access-port or trunk?) - It sounds like it should be a trunk on the switch with ip routing also disabled on this device.
If applicable post the route/arp table of the router and run config of the switch

Yes, router is performing all routing. I think that connection is Access-port connection (not sure).
Arp table from router is not problem, Switch config is unreachable at the moment - can't see switch IP in network, and I never do config by telnet e.t.c. (I wasn't configure this switch too, previous IT technician do that - but he doesn't remember everything)
