Crash with Router 800 Series G.shdsl (878)

Hi,

I have a problem with one router 878 g.shdsl . I'm connect with my cable consoleand I tried to recover lost password, I have enter the number 0x2142 for the new value of config register, when I reboot the router, this is the crash. there are no booting on IOS. Just some characters ascii imcomprehensible. I trie all procedure to boot on IOS but nothing. I think that the IOS is crash. How I can do for recover my router ?

Hi,

Try going back to the Rommon and change the baud rate to 9600 and test again.

If not try 38400 and test.
