Hello,
I have seen the next message on my Cat 6506:
%EARL_L3_ASIC-SP-3-INTR_WARN: EARL L3 ASIC: Non-fatal interrupt Netflow interrupt
When this message appeared, traffic goes down for few seconds. What means this message?
Regards.

Hello Daniel,
%EARL_L3_ASIC-SP-3-INTR_WARN: EARL L3 ASIC: Non-fatal interrupt Netflow interrupt
Enhanced Address Recognition Logic (EARL) Layer 3 (L3) application-specific integrated
circuit (ASIC) detected an unexpected non-fatal condition. I believe the errors that you are
seeing are single-bit memory error detected in L3 ASIC. Basically, there are two types
of ECC error - soft and hard parity error.
If the switch reported this error only once, then it should be soft parity error which can be
recovered. If the switch continuously report this error, then it should be hard parity error
and may indicate faulty memory/hardware.

Yogesh
