Failover in VSS configuration

Hi Guys,

due to some reasons, the sup720 hanged and stopped responding and this problem did not trrigger the failover to the second chassis and I went into downtime. I would like to know why the failover did not trigger. I am using the following configuration:

Switch 1:

switch virtual domain 100

switch mode virtual

switch 1 priority 110

switch 1 preempt

mac-address use-virtual

Switch 1

interface TenGigabitEthernet1/5/4
no switchport
no ip address
mls qos trust cos
channel-group 1 mode on

interface TenGigabitEthernet1/5/5
no switchport
no ip address
mls qos trust cos
channel-group 1 mode on

interface Port-channel1
description ## For VSL ##
no switchport
no ip address
switch virtual link 1
mls qos trust cos
no mls qos channel-consistency

interface GigabitEthernet1/5/3
no switchport
no ip address
dual-active fast-hello

switch virtual domain 100

switch mode virtual

switch 1 priority 110

switch 1 preempt

mac-address use-virtual

Swith 2

interface TenGigabitEthernet2/5/4
no switchport
no ip address
mls qos trust cos
channel-group 2 mode on

interface TenGigabitEthernet2/5/5
no switchport
no ip address
mls qos trust cos
channel-group 2 mode on

interface Port-channel2
description ## For VSL ##
no switchport
no ip address
switch virtual link 2
mls qos trust cos
no mls qos channel-consistency

interface GigabitEthernet2/5/3
no switchport
no ip address
dual-active fast-hello

I would like to know if there is any missing command that might trigger the failover in case of sup720 damaged ?

Thank you

Hi

show redundancy

and show redundancy history might give the first clues.

PS: the VSS config is not that important for SSO
