Fiber module

Dear All,

I have cisco 4510R-E core switch in that i have WS-X4306-GB module now i have to connect S.M fiber through coreswitch to my another location (1KM) having HP X120 1G SFP LC LX Transceiver (JD119B.).

Now please suggest me which module i have to use in my cisco core switch compatable to HP.

Please help me iam new to fiberoptic cabling.

Hello Srinivas,

you have to use a single mode transceiver and single mode fiber pair.

you need a GBIC with part number

WS-G5486=

1000BASE-LX/LH GBIC transceiver module for MMF and SMF, 1300-nm wavelength, dual SC/PC connector
