GIGASTACK-1-NO_LOOP_DETECT:

Hi ,

      i am getting this error on 3550 switch , which is connected to 4506.Any help how to troubleshoot this

Well according to the link below, this error pops up only when you have a 3550 gigastack running with gigstack GBIC used.

In your current set-up you have the 3550 connected to a cat4506. Are you running a 3550 gigastack connected to Cat4506. If you have a gigastack running then try the troubleshooting listed above. If you are not running the gigastack and have single 3550's uplink to cat4506, you should not worry about the error :-)

Hi,

       The switches are not connected in Stack. From 3550-SwitchA ,One uplink connected to 3550-SwitchB and  from 3550-SwitchB on euplink connected to 4506. IOS is same on 3550. could it be a cable problem ?
