In my office we have different VLAN's around 10, users working mainly on embedded & some times they use boards which are having DHCP option & users pc's are fetching IP address from Windows 2008 Server & it should always fetch dhcp ip address from Server & not from any of the Boards which is having DHCP enabled by mistake.. VLAN is created on Cisco 3560 & each vlan interface is having ip helper address so tat it gets ip from particular dhcp Windows server 2008. but still some times when user connects board on network pc's get IP from board dhcp ip range & vlan on which its connected gets board dhcp range.
How to trust only 1 DHCP Server in many VLAN's ?
