IOS catalyst 4503

Hi everybody,

I need to know, if I order cisco catalyst 4503 with supervisor engine II Plus TS, I must to order also any other additional software, like IOS or any?

Or this switch is comming with IOS?

Is the first time when I will use Cisco Catalyst, and I need your help!

Hello Marius,

if you buy a so called bundle it should include an IOS image, otherwise the switch is unusable.

Until you stay with the same feature set you will be able to upgrade the IOS image for free.

If you later need a more powerful feature set, you will be asked to pay a fee for this.
