Recently we upgraded our core switches (4500X cluster) to IOS Version 03.05.02.E . Connected to the core switches we have an access switch with 5 PDU's tied to it. After updating the IOS we got Solarwinds alerts stating these PDU's were unreachable. I was able to use the http web management of the PDU's however I was unable to ping them which is almost certainly causing the SolarWinds alerts. Another thing I found curious is that I can ping the PDU's from the 4500X but not the 2960X access switch connected to it.
