Is there a limit for the amount of VRFs on Catalyst 6500 switches?

Hi all,

the reason for this question is that I got different answers from different partners :-)

One company says there is no such limit. The other company claim sthat too much VRFs (in our case about 20) would cause too much workload on the Catalyst switches, thus making them a bottleneck.

If more information is needed, I can deliver it  of course; but the question is whether there is -by design- such a limit.
