I work for a small ISP and ran into loop problem few weeks ago and like to see how different other engineers would tackle the problem that I faced .I am a firewall engineer and does not have much knowledge on switching and routing.
Servers in client 2 created loops due to failed DHCP server effecting other customers netowrk. we quickly identified the problem and created a block list on client2's firewall.Wondering if there are any proactive steps that can be taken on the switch to avoid bad traffic and loops.Any insight on my question is much appreciated.
