Only if you are bridging or layer-2unneling. Usually, the LAN layer-2 header is stripped off the packet, and a new layer-2 header added that describes the WAN link.
The MAC address is only significant within a LAN. As soon as you cross a router boundary, the MAC address changes hop-by-hop.
