I have two catalyst switches stacked and have recently run into a problem where this message has appeared. It is showing as a problem on the member switch within the stack. The entire message is:
MRIB_PROXY-3-MRIB_LC_FAILED_IPC_OPEN: LC in slot 2 failed to open IPC port to RP, error = no such port. Verify MRIB updates are being distributed to this LC. (SWITCH-2)
Mar 30 01:33:45.941: %MRIB_PROXY-2-MRIB_INTERNAL: The unrecoverable error "Slot %d: LC port ipc init failed, error = %d" occurred in the MRIB-IPC subsystem
Is there anything that I can do try and fix this? I have done the show logging and show tech-support and nothing stands out.
