Multicast Issue

We have a combination of Cat 6509 and Cat3550. I have configured multicast on the Cat 6509 as in the below

ip pim sparse-dense-mode

ip cgmp

On the Cat 3550

ip pim sparse-dense-mode

There seem to be something missing as we cannot get multicast to work.

Because there are igmp and cgmp possible on the Cat 3550, please which one do I need to configure. Any documentation to also verify this?

In addition, On the Cat6509 there is igmp version 1 while on the Cat 3550 there is igmp version 2. Will they work together?

You could change the version to be comptaible on both the devices.Whether it is IGMP or CGMP it must be same on both the sides.
