Netflow and NBAR in 837 router

I nned to monitor our network traffic thro'SDM or any other software.

purpose is to find which IP address is using more bandwidth and what port.n need to block p2p and IM as well!

Hello Vanna,

to have a basic on top talkers you can use ip accounting

int vlan x

ip accounting outpu-packets

a PC running p2p SW can be recognized by the great numbers of connections

to see statistics use

sh ip accounting

we have cisco 837 basic router which acts as a gateway with NAT eabled.

need to know the traffic usage by ip address wise.

Can we forward the satistics thro' by Netflow to another monitoring software!

give more details how to enable Netflow too.
