%PM-4-ERR_DISABLE

Good Day,

I am getting this error on one of my switch and ports get into error-disable. 

%PM-4-ERR_DISABLE: loopback error detected on Gi1/0/1, putting Gi1/0/1 in err-disable state

There is no loopback configured on either of switches plus duplex is also same and configured manually.

Any suggestion from experts opinion?

whats the switchport connected to ?

can we see running config of the actual port and the show interface output

if you move the port to the next available port does the issue follow , to rule out the port or sfp itself

is it part of the port-channel ?
