can someone please help me with this issue. we have two vlans for voice and data. but we are planing to move to a new location don't have enough port access. so our plan is to use phone as a switch. i know cisco phones will identify different vlans coz CDP. but how non Cisco phones works. please help me with the switch port config

Most other phone vendors support LLDP. What type of phone will you be using?

Ok, I think LLDP is supported with Polycom
here is an example config for the access ports with vlan 10 data and vlan 20 IP phone
interface FastEthernetx/x switchport switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q switchport trunk native vlan 10 switchport trunk allowed vlan 10,20
