hi experts
I read this term - "single member stack" ...can you please tell what is the meaning of single member stack ? if there is only one member why it is called stack ?

Hi do you have the context you read that from ? to me its just a switch that has the capability of being stacked , not all switches are stackable , when you boot a stackable switch it still goes through the stacking process even when there is not other switch connected to it but it will always be master for obvious reasons as its standalone
