Syslog function for Catalyst 2960

Hi,

I have a question about syslog function.

I am currently using the Cisco Catalyst 2960. I will try to send a log to a syslog server by using the syslog function of the Catalyst 2960.

The network configuration is as follows. When an event occurs and a syslog mesage is created, is the syslog message transmitted simultaneously through PORT 1 and 2?2?

Hi,

If the TAPs are fiber, one link is used for transmit and one for receive. As far as both TABs sending data to the network switch, yes, that can happen simultaneously.
