Using 2 Cisco WS-C3650PD-S in stack as backbone layer 3

Hi All,

We have 2 Cisco WS-C3650-PDS and we want to use them  as  Backbone that will preform layer 3 Eigrp and Svi for internal routing to our second site. 

Our site is 1000 users.

What do you say it will be able to preform this task without any problem?

Hi,

I would not recommend 2 3650 switches as core switches for 1000 users, as I am not sure they will be able to handle the demand.  These can be core switches but for smaller sites with maybe 100, 200 user

Have you verified the CPU of these switches?

show process cpu history. 

You could use 3850 switches.
