Vlan ip address config on Nexus 5000

Hi all,

I'm trying to configure the ip address on vlan 500 for cisco Nexus 5000. But receiving error. 

nx-osv-3(config-vlan)# int vlan 500

Invalid interface format at '^' marker.

Please any help will be appreciated.

Have you enabled the feature ie. 

feature interface-vlan

I didn't do it. Just done it and problem solved.
