Has anyone done VRF lite between a Cisco device and Brocade device (MLX series)? Believe the Cisco end is good judging by the "sho ip vrf" and Sho ip route vrf ?" outputs but i can still ping networks outside of the VRF on the Brocade side. Any one know any good commands to verify that VRF is working on the Brocade side?

So ... VRF-lite in essence means that there is no mpls inbetween the devices (no mpbgp running between them).
With that in mind, then the only way connect two devices (cisco to brocade) and keep that traffic from one vrf in the vrf, is to connect the cisco using a vrf interface to the brocade on a brocade interface for the same vrf (so, no global-global interface connecting the boxes).
Feel free to attach the config for the brocade (assuming the ips/config is something you can share without security concerns). Hard to really tell what you are doing without more design information or configurations to verify.

Unfortunately I am not the tech on the Brocade side, just trying to help him T/S his end. Will see if I can get the configs. MPLS is not being used but there is an external cisco router acting as a gateway between the two networks. This is my first time using VRF. From my reading I thought the gateway router (7604) would act at the PE, but was instructed to use my distribution switch (6509) as the PE.
