WS-C2960L-24PQ-LL / 15.2(7)E3 ip source-routing

Hello,

We have the following switch WS-C2960L-24PQ-LL with the following IOS version running on it 15.2(7)E3

I've noticed that "ip source-routing" command is not supported. any idea why it is not supported? any formal documentations speaks about that?

This switch is very good but it is a basic switch and source routing is an advanced feature. Usually, we dont have information about why a feature is not supported. If you look at the data sheet, you are going to see:

"Basic Layer 3 features with Static routing and Routing Information Protocol (RIP)"
