CE 9.3 Branding / Custom Text is not persistent

This relates to DX70/80 and SX20/80 endpoints connected to CUCM 11.5 SU4 running CE 9.3.1

Using Setup > Personalization > Awake State > Custom Text

I add a DID and URI entries here and they appear on the screen, but regularly disappear and have to be re-entered.  Either due to a power issue, or simply playing with layouts

expected behavior or undocumented feature?

**UPDATE**

TL;DNR - by standardizing the UI, they removed features. Also, Custom Text does disappear; not expected behavior.

As Per TAC:
"I did some tests and research regarding the layout button in CE9 code and based on the release notes “Cisco Touch 10 has a new user interface that is identical to the Touch 10 UI for Cisco Spark registered endpoints and similar to the on-screen user interface of a Cisco DX70 or Cisco DX80 that is running Collaboration Endpoint Software 9. Compared to the UI in CE8 the Touch 10 panel is currently missing some features that may be added in a later release.” https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/endpoint/software/ce9/release-notes/ce-software-release-notes-ce9.pdf , page 8,52"

"I was able to reproduce the issue, indeed the custom text gets removed after the unit is rebooted. I did not occur for me when finishing a call.

I’ve reached the BU to get confirmation if this is expected or maybe a bug. I’ll get back to you as soon I get a response from them."

Hello,

It is identified as a defect " CE-45402 - In-room control widgets may be deleted during OS upgrade from spark"
