If Active Directory Authentication is enabled on the VCS to authenticate Movi/Jabber accounts. The local database authentication can not be used. This included the authentication provisioned from the TMS to the VCS. Would like the ability when setting the Check Credentials option in subzones to choose which method to check the credentials is used eg; Local Databse, Active Directory, etc...

There is an enhancement bug very similar to this already open. I'm not sure what timeline there is for working on the enhancement though, as priorities and focus change from time to time.

i ran into a similar issue (TMS 14.1 vcs 7.2) I found that i had to set NTLM challenge from "auto" to "off" in the vcs under the active directory area
this let me use the local database again
