I know SX20 is not designed to be integrated, but all been working great with C20's.
I was able to extend camera via HDMI to CAT6 extender, mic's and speakears are fine.
My problem is with the presentation source.
I have two presentation sources in the room: workstation (for people without laptops) and laptop hookup.
The workstation presentation works fine, laptop hookup looks like it has a broken cable (image is dark and has horizontal lines).
The funny thing - if I swap SX to C20 - all works fine.
I would blame it to local problem, but I already have 2 rooms like that.
Tried 3 different SX's.
It looks like there is some kind of compatablilty issue between SX and Extron boxes I use to connect laptop to the codec.
My question is: what's different between DVI input on SX and C20?
I see that there is some autodetect feature in SX20 - disabled it without results.
Any ideas appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello
Can you provide bit more information please:
- Version of software for SX and C20
- Model of Extron
- What is exactly your setup? How you connect Extron box/laptop and what type of the cables do you use?
Did you check supported resolutions:
Regarding autodetect please hard code your input and try again.
Thanks
Rafal

Hello,
C20 and SX20 are very different, hardware-wise. C20 follows same architecture of the C-Series, i.e. video DSPs and FPGAs controlling video inputs/outputs, whilst the SX20 is based on a single chip design doing video and audio. No FPGA in the picture here. On C-Series we can get more details on video input/output by looking at the FPGA. On SX20 we have some other commands we can use to check the same.
E.g. following command can be used to check the DVI input.

What do these commands return when you are seeing the DVI issue??

Hi all,
Thank you for getting back.
Setup description:
Laptop -- VGA--(Extron TP T 15HD A, twisted pair transmitter) -- CAT6 -- (TP R 15HD A, twisted pair reciever) -- VGA -- (Extron RGB-DVI 300 RGB to DVI scaller) --DVI-- (Extron SW2 DVI Plus, controlled DVI switch) -- DVI -- SX20.
Some additional info:
As a workaround, I was able to improve the image by adjusting H.Shift (horisontal image position) on TP T 15HD or on RGB-DVI 300. For some reason, when I move image to the right it becomes brighter and the lines are gone.
Log output below

Hello,
thanks for the output of those commands.
I sent these to our escalation team in Oslo to get their feedback and Johan Randby came back with the comment below.
There has been an issue with lack of support for some resolutions on SX20 (only DMT and CEA formats). You can read more about in these bugs:
CSCty19431 Implement support for CVT and GTF formats in ADV7604
CSCtz77758 1680x1050 VGA input detected as 1400x1050
Recommendation at this point seems to be to change your laptop resolution.

It is not that easy - I'm limited to output resolution from twisted pair extender.
Hopefully it can be resolved - SX can be a nice alternative for C40.
Thank you for looking into it.
