SAI, which stands for Securing Artificial Intelligence, is the standard that the ETSI Industry Specification Group is working on. While it may seem like just another acronym, the concept it represents is critically important. That's why the ETSI Industry Specification Group is actively developing this standard. ETSI's statement is alarming; it states, "Currently, there is no common understanding of what constitutes an attack on AI systems, nor how it might be created, hosted, and propagated."
We are beginning to enjoy the benefits of AI, yet we still lack a comprehensive understanding of the potential risks involved. For example, deepfake imposter scams have introduced a new kind of fraud. Who knows what the next wave of risks could bring?
Let's not forget the countless cyberattack incidents we've heard about in the past. By raising our awareness of AI security, we may be able to reduce or even prevent similar situations from occurring in the future.
