Display Out Of Range During Boot

On servers I've set up recently, I'm getting Out Of Range messages during boot.  I get the Dell "BIOS splash screen" for a few seconds, and then it's Out Of Range until partway through Windows showing the spinning wheel.

This is causing problems, because I can't see menus to do boot-level configuration (System Setup, Lifecycle Control, etc.).  For example, I'm trying to figure out how to set up the iDRAC Network on R450 servers I'm getting in (on 2U, I can do it through the front bezel interface, but 1U servers don't have that).

What resolution is the system trying to display?  Is it changeable?  Or do I need to start looking for a differnt KVM model that can do the correct resolution?

The Out Of Range message during boot may be caused by incompatible display resolution settings. Solutions include adjusting settings in BIOS or using a different KVM model for correct resolution support.
