Hi, I have a quick question about TE. Can you help me with it?
We are currently doing a project to measure the actual speed of the Internet at school and visualise this information.
I have created 3 different tests in TE (agent to agent, http server, ftp). And I want to get the throughput parameter via the API
The problem is that for agent-to-agent tests, this parameter is available only in the web interface, but not in the API. In the rest of the tests, everything is fine.
Question: do I understand correctly that if the API does not have this parameter by default, then I cannot get it until the developers add it?

Hi @dmelnyko - thanks for your question! I took this to our expert team and have a mixed bag for you:
We confirm that in the UI of an Agent to Agent test, Throughput is a metric that can be measured if throughput measurements are enabled on the test.
We also confirm that it appears that the Throughput metric for Agent to Agent tests is not currently accessible via the API. As we looked into this more we can verify that this is a current limitation of the API, but that there is an internal Feature Request to update the API to allow for this. No current timeline on this yet, but our team is working on it!
In the meantime, for Agent to Agent tests, the best option is to view from within the tool.
Sorry this isn't more of a "Oh, just do this!" type of answer - but it's always validating to know you're not just missing something! Hoping we see this enabled for API soon!
