はじめに

もし、CIMCのバージョン2.0(xx)をご利用の場合、既にAdobe Flash Playerのサポートが終了しており、下記の画面が表示されCIMC管理画面にログインできないため、CIMCバージョンを3.0以降（HTML5ベース）にアップグレードする必要があります。本ドキュメントで、CLIから CIMCバージョンをアップグレードする方法を紹介いたします。

アップグレード実施例

1. CIMC updateファイルのダウンロード
Cisco Software Downloadページより、SNS-35xxの CIMC updateファイル「upd-pkg-SNS-35x5-cimc.full.3.0.3f.bin」をダウンロードし、ご利用環境のFTPサーバなどに保存します。
※ なお、upgrade pathや注意点など、詳細については該当ページの「SNS-35x5-firmware-XX_upgrade_guide.zip」をご確認ください。

2. update実施
CIMCにsshで接続します。updateコマンドより、先ほどファイルを保存した任意のサーバからupdateします。なお、update状況は show detailで確認できます。

3. activate実施
activateコマンドより、現在 BACKUP INACTIVATED の3.0(3f)で再起動します。その後、CIMC管理画面にログインできるようになります。なお、併せてBIOSバージョンのアップグレードなど、Software downloadページにあるupgrade guideを参考に最新バージョンへのアップグレードもご検討ください。
