CSM: CSM Version 4.25 から Version 4.26 へのバージョンアップに失敗する

CSM Version 4.25 から Version 4.26 へのインラインバージョンアップを行った際，宛先のフォルダーに日本語や
全角文字が存在しないにもかかわらず以下のメッセージと共にバージョンアップに失敗する問題があります．

Path selected for destination folder contains Japanese letters.
Please choose a path containing only English letters.

これは次の不具合に該当します．

The upgrade from CSM 4.25 to CSM 4.26 fails with error message on Japanese OS

この問題は以下の方法で対応可能です．

1. 上記エラーメッセージのウィンドウの 'Cancel' をクリックし CSM Version 4.26 のインストールをキャンセルします．
2. レジストリーの "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Cisco_CSMUpgrade" でインストールパスを次のように変更します．
3. インストールパスを "C:\Progra~2\CSCOpx" という短いパスから "C:\Program Files (x86)\CSCOpx" へと長いパスへ変更します．
4. CSM Version 4.26 のインストールを最初から再開します．

この不具合はソフトウェア的な修正は加えられず上記対応方法のみが解決策となります．

When installing version 4.26, did you encounter any problems backing up data from version 4.25?

I have not heard of any problems with failed upgrades from CSM 4.25 to CSM 4.26.
This article is only for Japanese environment.

Before proceeding to the update from CSM 4.25 to CSM 4.26 did you manage to manage to backup the database?

I am locally connected on my server and need to upgrade from CSM 4.25 to CSM 4.26

I am not sure if I have to backup the database as it is describe on the cisco procedure below(Local Inline)
