Catalyst IOS XE 製品の install 系コマンドによるダウングレードとアップグレード方法

はじめに

 

本ドキュメントでは、Catalyst 製品のダウングレードとアップグレード方法を紹介します。従来の request platform 系コマンドと違い、16.6.2及びそれ以降のバージョンにて install 系のコマンドが導入されています。

 

注意事項

 

  • 該当手順は IOS XE 搭載の Catalyst 製品が対象 
  • install モードのみで可能な手法で、 install - のコマンドは StatckWise/StackWise Virtual 全体で実行
  • install 系のコマンドはアップグレードとダウングレードどちらにも使用可能
  • 実行中、選択が促される場合、y を入力

 

詳細手順

ステップ1: フラッシュのクリア

Switch# install remove inactive

* install remove inactive は使用されていない package ファイルやイメージを全て削除。

ステップ2: 新しいイメージをフラッシュにコピー

  • tftp サーバ経由でイメージを導入する場合該当ステップをスキップ
  • イメージを expand するのに少なくとも 1 GB の空き容量が必要

ステップ3: ブート関数を設定

Use the write memory command to save boot settings.

ステップ4: フラッシュにイメージをインストール

Switch# install add file flash:<image name> activate commit

 

  • 上記コマンドが実行され、全ての処理が完了した後、スタック全体が自動的に再起動
  • tftp サーバ経由でイメージをインストールする場合、以下のようにインストール
