はじめに

Catalyst 3850 / 3650、Catalyst 9K では 16.9 train 以降 Smart License の使用が必要となっています。

本ドキュメントは、SLR (Specific License Reservation) の方式でライセンスを適用する方法を紹介します。

Catalyst 3650 / Catalyst 3850、Catalyst 9K シリーズが対象となります。

ライセンスの適用方法

Step 1 : SLR を Smart License Client に設定、イネーブル

SLR を実行するにはまず SLR をイネーブルにする必要がございます。

下記コマンドで SLR をイネーブルにしてください。

コマンド：

license smart reservation

設定後、「show license reservation」コマンドで License reservation: ENABLED となっていることを確認

実行例/出力例：

Catalyst3650(config)#license smart reservation

License reservation: ENABLED

Step 2 : Request Code を発行する

SLR で Smart License の適用時、製品上で Request Code の発行が必要です。

下記コマンドで Request Code を製品にて発行してください。

コマンド：

license smart reservation request [all | local ]

•Local – Generates only for active device

•All – Generates a request code for all connected device

*スタック構成の場合は「all」を投入ください

Step 3 : CSSM で Authorization Code file を生成する

Step2 で発行した Request Code を利用して CSSMでAuthorization Code file を生成します。

*スタックの場合は Active / Standby 両方とも Request Code を使用して Authorization Code file を生成する必要があります。

(1)Login CSSM

Smart Software Licensing をクリック

(2)1. Inventory 選択-> 2. Virtual Account 選択 -> 3. Licenses 選択 -> 4. license Reservation 選択

(3)5.製品で発行した Request Code を入力 -> 6. Next をクリック

(4)7．Reserve a specific license 選択 -> 8.必要な license 数を入力 -> 9. Next をクリック

（5）10. Generate Authorization Code をクリック

（6）11. Download as File をクリックして生成されたファイルをダウンロード

Step 4 : 生成された Authorization code file をスタックにコピーし、Authorization Code file を install

Step3で生成した Authorization code file を製品にコピーして、インストールします。

*スタックの場合は生成された2つの Authorization code file を両方とも機器へコピーして install を実施してください。

Step 5 : Authorization code file のコピー方法

実行例/出力例：

TFTP/FTP/USB など経由で機器の flash: に対象 Authorization code file を Copy します。

※機種によって flash の保存先が異なりますので、各機器の保存先を確認してください。

dir コマンドで Authorization code file がコピーできたことを確認します。

Step 6 : Authorization code file のインストール

コマンド：

license smart reservation install file <file>

Step 7 : License の Status を確認

SLR でライセンス適用後、下記 show コマンドで正常に適用できているかを確認します。

コマンド：

show license summary
show license reservation

ライセンスのremove方法

Step 1 : 製品上で Return Code を生成する

適用したライセンスを remove するにはまず製品上で Return Code を生成する必要がございます。下記コマンドで Return Code を生成してください。

コマンド:

license smart reservation return  [all | local ]

実行例/出力例：

単体：

Catalyst3650#license smart reservation return local

This command will remove the license reservation authorization code and the device will transition back to the unregistered state. Some features may not function properly.

Step 2 : CSSM で該当 instance を remove する

Step1で Return Code 生成後、CSSM で該当 instance を remove します。

下記手順で実施してください。

(1) Login CSSM

(2)1.Inventory 選択-> 2. Virtual Account 選択 -> 3. Product Instances 選択 -> 4. remove したい機器を探し、action の矢印をクリック-> 5. Remove をクリック

(3)6.製品で生成された Return Code を入力 -> 7. Remove Product Instance をクリック

(4)ライセンス remove 後状態確認

Step 3 : 機器 でライセンスの状態を確認

Step2で instance を remove 後、製品上で正常に適用していたライセンスが remove されているか確認します。

コマンド：

show license summary
show license reservation
